Welcome to the Myanmar Chefs Association Homepage.

The MCA was founded in December 1996 by Myanmar Chefs and Expat Chefs working in Myanmar.

In 2002, the MCA was officially integrated into the World Association of Cook Societies WACS.

Many thanks and our sincere gratitude from here to the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and all who have supported us and helped us establishing the Myanmar Chefs Association.

Keeping in mind that we, as a NGO, non profitable and non political association have achieved staff placements worldwide as well as financing ourselves through means of donnation in form of work time that is not paid, we also would like to extend our heartiest thanks to all those who have helped us by spending time and knowledge in order to be able to further educate and train young dynamic, interested and enthusiastic  Myanmar citizens to become a chef, as such we are regarding the sheer becoming of a chef not simply as a destination but a s a destiny that takes all and gives even more.
